There are two services you need for a working site - a domain and a web hosting plan for it. When you type the Internet domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that’s uploaded in the web hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it's parked. Put simply, the domain is registered and you are its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. Rather, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it may be directed to any other URL of your choice. The benefit of parking a domain is that you can keep it and be sure that no one else will take it. In the meantime, it's not going to block a slot for a hosted Internet domain in your account. You may also park domain names if you have a .com, for example, and you register domain addresses with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site as a way to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Hosting

If you have a cloud hosting service through our company, you'll be able to park any of your domain names with ease. The feature is available for the domains registered with us, but not for the ones which are only hosted here and pointed from another company, as a domain address can be parked only through its registrar. Our Domain Manager instrument will permit you to pick from a number of templates and you're going to be able to include custom text to each of them. Redirecting a domain name to another URL is as easy as only typing the web address and saving it. If you want to host any of your parked domain addresses, it takes only a mouse click to do it and our system is going to do the rest - changing the name servers, creating a domain folder in your account, creating the needed DNS records, etc. For much easier administration, you're going to be able to filter the domain addresses registered within the account by their status - parked or hosted.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our Linux semi-dedicated servers don't have a set limit for the amount of domain names that you can park. This feature is available for domains which are registered through us and not ones that are only hosted, due to the fact that this service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really simple and takes several clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software instrument, which you will be able to access via your Hepsia website hosting Control Panel. You are going to have a number of parking templates to pick from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, etcetera. Un-parking a domain is just as simple and what is more, our system is going to set up all the necessary records and it will create a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you will not have to do anything manually.
